Silvana (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey. She received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Widener University and her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Stockton University with a minor in Gerontology. 

She has experience with providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults who have been diagnosed with Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, Mood Disorders, ADHD/ADD, Psychotic Disorders, and Personality Disorders. She has years of experience with providing intensive in-community (IIC) services to children and adolescents. Silvana has worked in an assisted living facility providing social work services to the geriatric population. Silvana’s primary interest areas include suicidal ideation, self harm, anxiety, panic, trauma, depression, chronic illness, and bipolar disorder.

Silvana enjoys using techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Techniques. She has a strong interest in assisting trauma survivors. She provides a nonjudgmental environment to help her clients strive towards achieving their goals and maintaining a life of success. She puts a strong emphasis on authenticity and the client/therapist working relationship.
