Silvana (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and serves as the Supervision Program Director. She earned her Master of Social Work from Widener University and her bachelor’s degree from Stockton University, where she also completed a minor in Gerontology. She is an NASW-approved clinical supervisor in New Jersey and provides supervision to therapists working toward clinical licensure.
She has extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a range of diagnoses including depression, PTSD, mood disorders, ADHD, psychotic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, and personality disorders. Her background includes years of intensive in-community (IIC) work with youth and providing social work services to the geriatric population in assisted living. Silvana supervises college interns in our Intensive In-Community (IIC) program, where they gain hands-on experience practicing as behavioral assistants. Silvana also conducts biopsychosocial assessments for the IIC program.
She is especially passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety and chronic illness (e.g., connective tissue disease, arthritis, terminal illness). Silvana draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness approaches.
Silvana is dedicated to creating a nonjudgmental, authentic space where clients feel heard, valued, and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. Her goal is to walk alongside clients at their own pace, helping them discover strengths they may not yet see in themselves.
