Robert DeMarco, LSW, LCADC

Rob is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. He brings extensive experience in the mental health and substance use fields, with professional backgrounds in carceral settings, behavioral healthcare, and healthcare leadership.

Rob utilizes an individualized, evidence-based approach to help clients address the underlying causes of emotional, behavioral, and substance use concerns. He is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Existential Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Rob works with adolescents and adults experiencing concerns related to addiction and recovery, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood and personality disorders, behavioral challenges, relationship and family conflict, self-esteem, stress management, and life transitions. 

He also has experience supporting individuals struggling with compulsive behaviors, emotional regulation, suicidal ideation, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Rob is committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being open and authentic. He works collaboratively with individuals to help them better understand their challenges, identify their personal needs and goals, and build upon their existing strengths to create meaningful and lasting change.
