Orah Chasen, LSW

Orah is a licensed social worker who is dedicated and compassionate with a strong background in serving collegiate, teenagers and young adult populations. With a Master of

Social Work from Hunter College, Orah brings over 11 years of diverse experience in mental health advocacy, crisis intervention, and community outreach.

Her previous roles include serving as a Case Manager, workshop presenter- presenting workshops to high school students on the topics of Suicide Prevention and Domestic Violence Prevention. Orah has also worked in geriatric care settings, both in long-term care facilities as well as in hospice care, where she facilitated emotional support and craft groups, conducted one-on-one sessions with clients and facilitated care planning for older adults and their families. Orah has also served as a guidance counselor in elementary schools. 

When meeting with Orah, you can expect a non-judgemental, empathetic therapist who wants to support her clients in the best way possible!
