MaryBeth Cuffari, LSW
MaryBeth Cuffari is a New Jersey Licensed Social Worker with 15 years of experience in social work and mental heath. MaryBeth received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Stockton University. She is currently pursuing her LCSW.
MaryBeth has extensive experience in working with children and families. She is highly experienced in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans. MaryBeth has worked with children and teenagers with a variety of concerns and diagnoses, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, learning difficulties, emotional/behavioral concerns, and developmental disabilities. Additionally, MaryBeth has experience in working with adults with a variety of mental health concerns, such as OCD, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and depression.
MaryBeth utilizes a holistic approach with her clients, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. She understands and embraces the importance of having a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients.
MaryBeth brings empathy and compassion to each of her sessions, and wants her clients to know that she is grateful for the trust they have placed in her. She will always meet each client where they are at, taking the time to understand their specific needs and concerns.
Outside of the office, you will find MaryBeth spending time with her family, including her dog. MaryBeth is very passionate about animals and the therapy they can provide; one of her goals is to someday have a therapy dog who will volunteer in the community. MaryBeth also enjoys reading, puzzles, music, watching movies, and going on walks.
