Maria Mazzeo is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in counseling and mental health support. Holding certifications as a School Counselor and Student Assistance Counselor in New Jersey, as well as being a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state, Maria brings a solid academic foundation to A Better Tomorrow Counseling Services.

Maria earned her Master's degree in School Counseling and her Ed.S in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University, demonstrating her commitment to advanced education and professional development.

With a focus on serving diverse populations, Maria has worked extensively with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Her areas of expertise encompass depression, anxiety, stress management, behavioral disorders, and PTSD.

In her therapeutic approach, Maria draws from evidence-based techniques including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. By tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each individual, Maria strives to foster a supportive and empathetic environment where clients feel valued and understood.
