Dana Breslau, LSW

Dana is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with three years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, families, and young adults through a trauma-informed lens. She is currently pursuing her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

Dana earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Victimology and Victim Services from Stockton University and went on to receive her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.

Her clinical experience includes working with youth and families from diverse backgrounds and complex trauma histories across residential treatment, intensive in-community, and outpatient settings. At her time in residential treatment, Dana served youth at the highest level of out-of-home care in the State of New Jersey, which encapsulated crisis management and intervention on a daily basis.

Dana’s therapeutic approach draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the Nurtured Heart Approach, and Person-Centered Therapy.

In her practice, Dana brings warmth, empathy, and creativity to every session. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where clients can explore their experiences, process challenges, and move toward healing and personal growth.
