Tairah Brown, LSW

Tairah is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey with over 6 years of experience within the mental health field. Tairah has her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Stockton University. Tairah has a diverse background working in various settings including group homes, community, schools, psychiatric hospitals, and in outpatient therapy settings. Tairah’s extensive experience spans a diverse range of clients, including couples, adults, teenagers, and children.

Throughout Tairah’s career, she has assisted clients in addressing presenting issues, including Adjustment Disorder, ADHD, Autism, Behavioral Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Relationship Challenges, and Trauma. Tairah utilizes evidence-based modalities, such as Nurtured Heart Approach, CBT, DBT, Strengths-Based Approach, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to provide clients with an effective treatment.

Tairah believes in establishing a calm and safe therapeutic environment. Tairah believes in establishing a therapeutic relationship founded on respect, trust, empathy, and an unconditional positive regard.

At A Better Tomorrow Counseling Service, Tairah’s goal is to help clients identify the current obstacles in their lives, and ultimately successfully work with clients towards addressing these concerns based on a collaborative effort.
