Mahogany Summers, LSW

Mahogany is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in New Jersey with experience working with at-risk youth, teen mothers, refugee resettlement, childcare, geriatrics, mental health and community support services for adults, and behavioral health services for youth.

Mahogany received her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.

Mahogany is experienced in treating children, adolescents, and families with diverse backgrounds through intensive in-community services, outpatient services, and residential programs. Mahogany is skilled in cognitive behavioral therapy, the nurtured heart approach, strengths-based interventions, and  trauma informed services.

Mahogany provides compassionate care and aims to empower clients to increase self-confidence to navigate difficult emotions by developing and applying healthy coping skills.
