Jane Bohn, LPC
Jane has a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Prior to starting in the mental health field 6 years ago, Jane spent 27 years working in long term care and ran grief and loss and caregiver support groups. Jane has experience working with all ages from children to older adults, as well as couples and families.
Jane has experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, bipolar disorder and various personality disorders. Jane also has experience working with the special needs population and has an adult son with Autism so she has personal experience advocating for this population and an understanding of the challenges faced by this population and their families.
Jane’s chosen modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-focused, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Jane enjoys helping clients discover ways to improve their outlook and live their best life gaining valuable tools to be successful during challenging times.
