Josephine Mixson MS, LPC

Josephine earned her master’s degree in Christian counseling from Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA in 2001. Josephine works with adolescence, adults and couples. She has over ten years’ experience working with trauma victims. Josephine also holds the NJ state certification in domestic and sexual assault. She specializes in treating domestic violence, sexual assault, grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma using client centered, cognitive and solution focused therapy.

Josephine has been also trained in Men Batterers Intervention using the Duluth Model and has been a facilitator for over 4 years. She has also worked in the NJ state prison system teaching Domestic Violence to inmates for 3 years. Josephine is also a retired veteran with the United States Airforce.
